Skin boosters are injections that improve the skin's texture, elasticity, and hydration. The injections are given in the lower and mid areas of the face, hands or neck. They are also known as skin hydrators, micro-fillers, or hydro-fillers. Skin boosters are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a gel-like substance that's injected under the skin. The hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin and stimulates collagen production. Collagen is a protein that strengthens and gives structure to the skin.
